Stories from the Street
Plymouth, MI. Team Plymouth, Michigan recently evangelized at the Friday Fish Fry at the local parish. They had great talks with Catholics from the parish, others from different Catholic parishes, and some others who were not even Catholic at all (Friday fish frys are famous!). The team reminded Catholics of their mission and duty to share the Gospel with others, giving them extra rosaries or medals to give away in order to share the faith with others. With non-Catholics, they shared “one good reason” to consider the Catholic faith. Several of these were happy to learn more about the Church and the Eucharist, while all the Catholics were grateful for the extra sacramentals to give out. What a blessed evening!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Lenten Fish Frys and other parish events that bring in neighbors and outsiders are great opportunities for evangelization. This can be easily arranged at almost any parish. Would you consider joining our efforts in our streets and parishes?
