The following report comes to us from team leader Mark with our team in Newark, NJ:
There were ten of us who ministered and we got to speak to many people passing by. We shared Bibles, clothes, some coffee and bagels, and, most importantly, the hope of the Gospel and prayer. Several of the people were in desperate straits between mental illness, homelessness, addiction, and facing serious legal charges. The Lord gave us boldness to proclaim that He could see them through it all.
One man named Robert who was visibly intoxicated and facing charges of assault and battery with a knife told me that he would hold my prayer in his heart and said that he would read the New Testament that we gave him. I gave him my card and told him to let me know how it goes with the judge. God is faithful!
Praised be Jesus Christ!
