This report comes from team leader Bill with our team in Tampa, FL:
Once again, the Lord blessed us with beautiful weather and many pedestrians during our last outing in Ybor City. Thanks to Mike and Tom for joining me.
The day was so positive. We probably gave out 100 items. Smiles and thanks were plentiful. The Holy Spirit was with us.
A few of our many encounters:
* As usual we encountered many homeless. We prayed for shelter, strength, employment, and a new one on me — stop the itching.
* After accepting a rosary, Jude (from Ohio) admitted he did not know how to pray with it. After giving him the instructional pamphlet, he asked for prayers to learn how to pray the rosary. That’s kind of circular: praying the rosary to learn how to pray the rosary.
After we packed up, Tom and I went out to eat. What a nice afternoon.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
