This report comes to us from Mark, one of our online school of evangelization students:
While in Florida last month I began talking to a vendor at the Okeechobee flea market that I was at. She was a Jehovah’s Witness and we began an exchange on God and faith. She brought up a few points, then I responded with some counter arguments from Scripture that refuted hers. We went back and forth, and she even called on another Jehovah’s Witness to help her out! That lady had been standing within earshot of our exchange and wanted no part of dialoguing with me! So finally after probably twenty minutes or so the lady I was talking to got flustered by my logical, scriptural and historical arguments for the Catholic Church. She jumped up and declared in a loud voice that “she had to get away from me” as she hurried away from the booth she was working at to God knows where! But it was a great learning experience for me, and even though unfruitful from an evangelization point of view, it was great practice! But she definitely seemed to have a spirit of agitation when challenged with tough answers and questions!
Praised be Jesus Christ!
