The following report comes to us from team leader Sharon with our St. Raphael parish team in Crystal, Minnesota:
Our team was contacted by Dr. Deb, an SPSE team leader for Owatonna, to help staff a table at the Vatican Unveiled exhibit at the Mall of America, which is the largest mall in the United States. The initial request came from the Archdiocese of St Paul-Minneapolis who hosted the exhibit. We were told any time we could offer would be greatly appreciated.
At the time the request was sent out to our team, we did not realize we are the only active team in the Twin Cities area. We were able to staff the table for six shifts with four different evangelists from our team, plus two other people who never evangelized with us before.
We hope our efforts were fruitful. Attendees did appreciate the medals and rosaries. The prayer request basket was filled up and needed to be emptied several times. We continue to pray for the requests that people entrusted to us.
