The following comes to us from team leader Lucy with our team in Boise, ID:

A young homeless man named “James,” dressed in a brown friar habit (costume) and wearing a Rosary he’d found, stopped for a long conversation. Raised in a non-Catholic Christian community, he asked if it was possible for him to become Catholic. James shared about deep grief…the recent death of his sister, along with physical hardship and spiritual struggles at home (his mother is in the occult and has been putting pressure and “spells” on him to give up on Christianity). We prayed with him and gave him several prayer cards (St. Michael, Our Lady Undoer of Knots), a Rosary pamphlet, and an additional green chain Rosary at his request. Encouraged, James planned to visit a nearby Catholic church before returning to his hometown the next day. Please pray for his spiritual protection, healing, and continued journey toward the Church.

Throughout the outing, many others stopped by: teenagers curious about the Rosary, a woman who identified as Catholic and chose one, and several practicing Catholics grateful to receive a Rosary and guidance on praying it. We encouraged deeper habits of prayer and regular participation in the Mass.

A large Catholic family joyfully recognized us from a previous outing, with children eagerly asking for Rosaries. We encouraged the parents to continue praying together as a family. Two non-Catholic Christian boys also stopped by and received a brief explanation of the Rosary’s Christ-centered devotion before choosing one.

By the end of the day, 30–35 Rosaries were given away, along with pamphlets, prayer cards, and parish maps. Please pray that God continues to send people with open hearts, and that these encounters bear lasting fruit for His Kingdom.
