The Mall - March 14, 2026
From our evangelist Ingrid:
The mall was crowded this past Saturday, but in the midst of the busyness, God opened beautiful encounters.
I met Christopher, who shared that he is Lutheran. He told me that just earlier that day, a Catholic friend had encouraged him to grow closer to the Catholic Church. He was surprised to then see us there evangelizing! He spoke with respect for the Catholic faith, especially the Latin Mass, and shared that he lives in Washington, NJ, near the Blue Army Shrine, which he has visited. He gladly accepted a rosary and a “How to Pray the Rosary” brochure.
I also met Natalie, whose joy was contagious. She was so happy to receive a rosary! She shared that she comes from a Catholic family from the Caribbean, her mother, aunts, and uncles used to pray the rosary, and she grew up witnessing that devotion. Although her family now belongs to different denominations, she gratefully took a rosary and a guide on how to pray it.
Then there was Tom, who told me he is Jewish and preferred not to discuss religion. However, he said he would never pass up a prayer. He asked for prayers for his family, and we prayed together. He was deeply thankful, wished me a blessed day, and left very grateful.
Finally, I met Maria, a faithful Catholic from Piscataway. She was happy and encouraged to see our evangelization group, sharing that she often sees other Christian groups but rarely Catholics. She asked for prayers for her daughter, which we were honored to offer.
Please keep all those we met in your prayers.
