The following story comes to us from team leader Joseph with our new St. Peter the Apostle team in Trinity, FL:
Last week we set up our table at our church fish fry with free Jesus statues, rosaries and informational pamphlets. It was a great way to introduce our ministry to current church members and those visiting our fish fry from other churches and our community.
We meet little Ruth (9 years old) who wants to be a saint! and her family including her parents and siblings. Josh, Ruth, and their baby brother are home schooled. They loved all the goodies we had for them, and they added to their rosary collection. Ruth and I prayed for my grandson Shawn’s need for a new job & income! She practically led me through the prayer. I believe she is on her way to be a saint!
Later we met Carl and Max from Generations Christian Church. We talked about the different churches, the Catholic faith, and a variety of other things as they had many questions. We also talked about churches in Italy and the Vatican, which they both loved. Joe prayed with Carl about getting through grieving his wife of 62 years, as she just passed in Feb. They prayed about grieving and also rejuvenation.
We spoke to a few more guests who stopped by to say hello. Although we tried to get new members, there were no takers. People did like what we were doing and felt we were very brave. We simply said, “Be Bold, Be Catholic!”
Praised be Jesus Christ!
