The following report comes to us from team leader Lucy in Boise, Idaho:

God’s love is for each person, and we try to express it.

A Catholic family visiting from out of state stopped by our table. The father asked about the role of deacons at Mass, while his young-adult son, who is moving to Boise, was looking for ways to connect with other young Catholics. We pointed him toward the local university’s Newman Center. Lord, bless this family and keep them faithful to You.

Another man approached, visibly upset by our Catholic display. Though his family is Catholic, he believes organized religion is superstitious and harmful. He insisted that Jesus is all we need, and I agreed that Jesus is our one mediator and the only way. Though still angry with the Church, he remained polite, and we parted with a handshake and a blessing.

Two men who appeared homeless also stopped. One expressed concern that his intoxicated companion might try to drive. Both received Rosaries, and when the second man was asked if he needed prayer, he requested prayers for his mother. We prayed for her peace and health, as well as for him. Lord, have mercy on them both.

“Amanda,” a non-Christian flight attendant, initially declined a Rosary but soon returned for one. She practices a religion that honors many gods, but her mother keeps religious objects from various traditions, including a Rosary. Nancy explained how to pray it, and Amanda happily took one. Lord, please use her interest in the Rosary to draw her to You, the one true God.

A group of young people also stopped. One young woman said she was Catholic and treasured a Rosary from the Vatican that her mother had given her, though it had broken and she had never prayed it. She chose a new Rosary, and we explained how to pray it. Lord, You know her name. Please bless her and draw her closer to You.

Altogether, the four of us gave away another 20–25 Rosaries and several prayer cards.

Please pray that God sends us people whose hearts are prepared to recognize their need for Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, and that our efforts bear abundant fruit for His Kingdom. His love never changes. Thank you for your prayers and support!
