This report comes from team leader Sharon with the St. Raphael Parish team in Crystal, Minnesota:
At our 2025 Church Festival, we had several good encounters helped by a relic of St. Teresa of Calcutta.
One man was very happy to receive some free sacramentals, especially when he discovered that they are blessed by our priest. We have seen this fellow in recent years, and it was very nice to share some good faith conversation with him. Phil has discovered him from time to time, worshiping our Lord in our Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. Seeing this guy walking down the street, one would never guess, that he knows friendship in Christ Jesus!! He took one Miraculous Medal, as well as a Saint Raphael medal, and some prayer cards. Putting those on an extra long chain to wear around his neck, he walked away quite content. Lord Jesus please continue to watch after our friend.
We gave away several brochures, medals, and a rosary to a young Protestant Christian open to learning more about Catholicism who was there with his friend. One young lady specifically wanted a Spanish Our Lady of Guadalupe medal which was not set out due to limit space allotted to SPSE items. Sharon went into the storage area and had OLG ready for when the young woman walked by again.
Thank you, Lord, for the wonderful encounters and wonderful weather we had this weekend.
