This report comes to us from team leaders Cathy and Veronica with our St. Mary Help of Christians Church team in Aiken, SC:
Not too long ago, our evangelization team from St. Mary Help of Christian Church had its first outing ever. We set up our table in front of the St. Vincent DePaul food pantry adjacent to the church. After being set up for a short time, a young man walked over to the table and said that he wanted to go to confession. He shared that he had not been to confession for ten years. He also let us know about a difficult situation in his life he had been dealing with. We gave him the information he needed to be able to go to confession and then had the opportunity to pray with him.
This was so encouraging to us being our first time out on the street. It was a joy to be able to minister to this young man! We sensed through this encounter the Lord affirming us in this ministry.
Praised be Jesus Christ!
