The following report comes to us from team leader Pete with our Erie Shores and Islands team in OH:
Our fourth outing for the year was on South Bass Island at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Put-in-Bay, OH. I gave a brief introduction during Mass announcements about St. Paul Street Evangelization and invited all attendees to join us outside for prayer and to find out more. Most of us had our “What’s Your Story?” shirts on to encourage visitors to share their personal lives so we could go deeper. We had many visitors from Mass as well as passersby at this very active resort community. (For those that aren’t familiar, Put-in-Bay is a resort village known for its vibrant atmosphere, featuring beaches, historical sites, and a lively bar and nightlife scene.) Many prayers were offered, information and sacramentals shared and many seeds were sown.
